That’s right, many people predicted a future breakup of the current No. 3 after the convulsive first half of the season, but who would dare to do it now after winning 3 of the last 5 events?
Working quietly and ignoring the noise coming from the outside, with a change of coach in between, Lebron and Galan are recovering that absolutely overwhelming version that made them be number 1 for 3 years in a row.
With this WPT title in Menorca, the third year in a row winning on the island, without dropping a single set, they are postulated as favorites for the rest of the season. The finest Lobo and the most groundbreaking Galantico are back.
Prophet in her homeland
That must have been how the Minorcan Gemma Triay felt when she won for the third time on home soil. The native of Alayor completed a great week getting her first title with Martita Ortega as a partner.
In addition, the road was not at all easy to proclaim champions. Along the way they defeated the twins, Bea and Delfi? until they put an end to the resistance of the number 1 of 2023, Paula Josemaría and Ari Sánchez.
Special mention for Paulita to whom we send all the encouragement in the world from here who had the courage and bravery to play the final after learning of the death of her grandmother.

Fatigue is starting to take its toll
It is taking its toll on everyone, but especially on those who accumulate a greater number of matches behind them. And these are none other than the number 1 and 2 pairings, Coello and Tapia and Stupa and Di Nenno.
So many weeks of competition, many in a row, plus the coexistence between the two circuits are starting to take their toll. And that tournaments such as the WPT Buenos Aires or the Giza Premier have not been played.
The results may not reflect it because after all both couples have reached the final and semifinal, respectively, but it does give that feeling in certain parts of the matches or even with matches that get complicated when in theory they should not.

The Andalusians are getting used to their idea of the game, as is Momo’s change to the drive. They reached the quarterfinals after falling in the last 32 in the previous tournament, overcoming two great matches against Capra/Chozas (7-6/4-6-6/0-6) and Esbrí/Campagnolo (6-4/3-6/5-7).
