Let’s continue to review and get to know the data of the 2023 season. Let’s take a look at the couples with the most titles in the season.

Arturo and Agus are the clear dominators, but who apart from them have won the most tournaments in 2023?

TOP 1 – Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello

Although their performance has gone from strength to strength throughout the year, they are the undisputed kings of 2023. Their number 1 is proof of it. There was a moment of doubt when Martin and Franco, thanks to their regularity, got closer in the ranking, but with the title won in Mexico, they won their eleventh WPT title. In addition, they have also dominated the Premier Padel circuit winning in Rome, Madrid, Mendoza and Paris, 4 of the 6 tournaments that were finally disputed.

15 tournaments won in 2023

TOP 2 – Martin Di Nenno and Franco Stupaczuk

It is important to highlight the achievements of the Argentineans during the season because perhaps they are somewhat overshadowed by the TOP 1. They have reached each and every one of the semifinals of both circuits in 2023. After their first WPT title of the season in Denmark, taking advantage of the absence of Coello/Tapia, they won 5 more, also withstanding the irruption of Lebron and Galan after the summer break. They also won the inaugural Premier Padel tournament this year in Qatar.

TOP 3 – Juan Lebron and Ale Galan

Despite the many doubts at the beginning of the year, the tournaments lost by Lebron due to his elbow injury and the numerous rumours surrounding them, they ended up being the third couple with the most titles in 2023. In their excellent second half of the season they conquered Finland, Germany, Menorca and Sweden to add 4 WPT tournaments. Plus the Premier Padel in Milan, they weren’t far behind the Superpibes.

5 tournaments won in 2023

TOP 4 – Paquito Navarro and Fede Chingotto

With all the tournaments already shared by the three previous couples, after being close many times, they won the last and also the most special one. What a tournament. Nobody can take away the honour of being the last champions in the history of the World Padel Tour. The Barcelona Master Final 2023 won makes them appear on this very select list.

1 tournament won in 2023

Extras

Having reviewed the major tournaments, although the category lost weight throughout the year and only half of the scheduled events were held, a couple of pairs also won the Open 500:
  • Momo González and Mike Yanguas (Reus).
  • Juanlu Esbrí and Edu Alonso (Alicante).
Special mention also for the aforementioned Mike Yanguas who won FIP Star of Sardinia with Fede Chingotto, playing the Argentinean from the backhand!
