Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic turned up at Milano for an afternoon of great padel. He did not hesitate to greet players and fans.
He arrived while the semifinals were being played on court and for an hour he became the other protagonist of the Milano Premier Padel P1. Zlatan signed autographs and took selfies, including one with Ale Galan, just after his semifinal match.
A great padel lover
After arriving at the VIP stand and positioning himself next to Nasser Al Khelaifi (President of Premier Padel) and Luigi Carrarro (President of the FIP), the ex-footballer addressed the media to explain why he loves padel:
“I’m here because I enjoy when I play padel, it’s a sport that I really like, I started playing eight years ago and opening dedicated sports centres. I want to give everyone the opportunity to try padel and enjoy it”.
“Ibracadabra” also explained one of the reasons why the magic of padel is spreading fast: “It’s a sport that grows quickly, it’s fun, you don’t need to be a professional or even be good to have a good time, as it can happen in tennis.
He watched the semifinal between Coello/Tapia – Di Nenno/Stupaczuk
After walking around the Allianz Cloud court with Luigi Carraro and his former president at PSG and Premier Padel’s number one, Nasser Al Khelaifi, Zlatan watched in Milano the super semi-final between Coello/Tapia and Stupaczuk/Di Nenno.
